The Project works closely with international organisations and bilateral donors that provide co-operation to Armenia in the ICT-related fields. SDC, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, supports ICT for Development initiatives and is co-financing with UNDP the establishment of E-Governance System for Territorial Administration. The World Bank and USAID have jointly elaborated the ICT MASTER STRATEGY for Armenia. Both organisations have significant initiatives in the ICT field. The IREXInternet Access and Training Programme (IATP) focuses on creating free access sites and providing training. The Open Society Institute supports the use of ICT for the development of education (schools), media and libraries. The Eurasia Foundation provides grants to regional libraries for creating regional Freenets around the library. The Project Harmony establishes connectivity for schools all over the country (Armenia Connectivity 2000) and supports the use of Internet (Internet Community Developmet). The DFID (UK) plans co-operation with the Region of Tavush for the creation of a regional information centre. The European Commission prepares a vast programme aiming at the development of Information Society. The Information Technologies Foundation (ITF) implements a World Bank grant related to Development Gateway.
